Responsibilities
Secaucus, NJ starting shortly, 5-plus hour shift
Immediate openings for caregivers who are compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA), ideally with a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
As a caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical care for individuals in their homes
You will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being
Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility
Medication Reminders: Ensure clients follow their prescribed medication schedules
Basic Health Monitoring: Report physical or emotional changes to the supervising nurse
Daily Activities: Accompany clients on walks and provide companionship
Meal Preparation: Prepare simple, nutritious meals for clients
Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, tidying, and dishwashing
Safety and Communication: Monitor the client's safety, address concerns proactively, and communicate any issues promptly to the care team or family
Basic Wound Care Support: Reinforce simple dressings as needed
Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members
Stay up-to-date on CHHA training, policies, and procedures
Must be on time and stay until the end of the shift
Salary Range: $18-$22
