Job Summary
We are seeking a Bi-lingual Phlebotomist (English/Spanish) to join our team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.
Responsibilities
Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
Correctly label samples and send them for testing
Administer Vaccine to Pediatric Patients.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomy diploma or Medical Assistant preferred
Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
Strong computer and data entry skills
