What You’ll Do as a Certified Home Health Aide:
Providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, and assisting with meal preparation, feeding and hydration.
Monitoring basic health status and reporting changes to the Community Director.
Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to the residents, and leading or assisting with engaging activities and social interactions.
Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home.
Safely assisting with resident transfers and mobility as needed.
Supporting a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents’ physical and emotional needs.
Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license required
Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) preferred, but not required
Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care preferred, but not required
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance
