Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing

  • Grooming

  • Dressing

  • Toileting

  • Mobility and transfers

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.

  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care.

  • Remind clients to take medications as directed.

  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.

  • Accompany clients to appointments and community activities if required.

  • Maintain accurate daily care notes and documentation.

  • Follow the client's care plan and agency policies.


Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous home care experience preferred but not required.

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.

  • Ability to work independently in clients' homes.


Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Ennoble Care believes giving care is an Honor

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing Hospice Company for our Passaic County, NJ region.


The caregiver (CHHA) will be responsible for:

  • Care for census of 5-6 patients

  • Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.

  • Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.

  • Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.

  • Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient's laundry.

  • Feeds and assists with meals.

  • Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse

About You

  • Must have a NJ State CHHA

  • Valid Driver's License and reliable mode of transportation

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • English fluency is not required; Se Habla Español

  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19


Starting at $20.00 an hour
