Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy training program
Valid Phlebotomy certification (required or preferred, as per state law)
Minimum [0–2] years of experience preferred
Knowledge of blood collection techniques and safety procedures
Ability to handle patients with care, empathy, and professionalism
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Manual dexterity for blood collection procedures

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, labeling samples accurately, and ensuring patient comfort while following all safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages
Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
Properly label, store, and transport blood samples
Maintain accurate patient and specimen records
Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety guidelines
Prepare patients before and after blood collection
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Assist with inventory and restocking of phlebotomy supplies
Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
